After a last day with strong south westerly wind with up to 30 knots in the gusts, the 2008 European Championships came to an end. With everything open in almost all classes the battle for gold turned out to be a contest in boat handling in very tough conditions. The Race Committee managed to get 3 races in the box for the Hobie 16 Gold and Silver Fleet and the remaining two races for the Hobie 14, FxOne and Tiger were sailed.
